Sunset Tide

I painted "Sunset Tide" to portray that quiet moment when the sun rests on the horizon and the sea keeps moving. I layered purples, pinks, and oranges across the sky against deep blues and whites in the surf, using a textured surface and intentional brushwork to suggest the light shifting over the waves.

Which color do you notice first — the warm glow around the sun or the cool blues of the water?  This would be a serene addition to your space. 12x18
